Meet Brigitte Pipkin, Owner
I want to thank all of you who have been loyal clients throughout the years and look forward to serving you in the future. I wish to welcome all potential clients to my salon.
When I was 12 years old, I remember coloring my mother’s hair and then the neighbors, and the rest is history.
My first salon was Hair Affair which I purchased from Ouida Harvey, a wonderful stylist and mentor. After studying in London with Vidal Sassoon and in Paris I wanted a salon that offered a little something different. I then opened Serge St. Clos in Bowman Curve Shopping Center. After expanding that salon I purchased my current building and renovated it. It is a wonderful place that combines the best of European and American styling.
My focus has always been to have the most professional, clean, comfortable environment for my clients.
I work hard to stay abreast of current trends. I earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development, attended Dale Carnegie courses, was a Toastmaster, an educator for Zotos International and wrote a book on salon management which I taught throughout the U.S. My salon has been featured in many publications and we have been voted the Best Salon several years running. We also were on Channel 7 on Day Break where we did make-overs for a number of years. I am a member of Little Rock Executives Association.
I have been a mentor to a number of salon owners that started their careers at That French Salon such as: 2121 Color Salon, Salon Deval, Serenity Day Spa, Jackson Color Studio, SWANK Hair Studio, Breathe, Holden & Co. (Searcy), Studio Red (Greenbriar).
My passion is to make the person in my chair feel and look great, which would include a great haircut and style, a bit of color to compliment it all and, of course, a touch of makeup to complete the look. II give you the look that YOU will love.
